Extended Tax Academy was founded by an experienced accounting professional with a background in government accounting, tax preparation, and public accounting. Our founder earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern University A&M College and began a career in government accounting at Louisiana State University in 2001.

In 2005, our founder expanded into tax preparation and later transitioned into public accounting in 2006. Over the years, this experience led to the development of several professional ventures, including Assurance Tax & Accounting Group, LLC and BR Tax Doctor.

Our founder was recognized among the Top 3 Tax Services in Baton Rouge for three consecutive years, from 2018 through 2020, and currently serves as CEO of Extended Tax Software & Academy and CFO of Walker Kimistry Enterprises, LLP.

Extended Tax Academy was created to provide structured education and practical resources for individuals interested in developing their knowledge and skills in tax preparation. Our training is designed to support both individuals entering the tax preparation field and experienced tax professionals seeking additional education and professional resources.
